7th October 2021
CCS are recruiting enthusiastic and motivated leaders to join an innovative team, looking to develop a new service for Norfolk and Waveney alongside staff, families and stakeholders.
With a strong ethos of clinical support and supervision, their dynamic team provides evidence-based advice, training and interventions to children and young people.
They are a friendly and supportive team committed to providing effective services as part of a multi-disciplinary, multi-agency service.
The successful candidates will lead system redesign across the locality incorporating early intervention, educational support and health elements; therefore they are looking for experienced leaders from a variety of professional backgrounds with a specific interest in Speech Language and Communication Needs.
If you’re able to demonstrate success in working across agencies and organisations, strong communication and interpersonal skills and experience of leading teams – with a desire to use your skills in a new and exciting role – they would love to hear from you.
Cambridgeshire Community Services (CCS) has been rated ‘Outstanding’ by CQC and the Trust’s vision is embedded in providing high quality care to the diverse communities we support. They believe that community based innovative services are fundamental to success giving people more choice and control over their health. In these roles you will be responsible for working with children, families and the wider system to deliver The Balanced System® across Norfolk and Waveney, and integrating within their Healthy Child Programme to ensure the most impactful service they can.
Successful applicants will be joining an organisation that delivers established speech and language services in Cambridgeshire, Luton and Bedfordshire and they are excited about the opportunities that developing services in Norfolk and Waveney bring to enabling a speech and language therapy community of practice across our footprint.
They are seeking to recruit to two additional Band 8A posts for West and Breckland and Waveney. These posts are newly created Locality Lead positions and are fixed term for 2 years.
There will be one set of interviews for these posts and successful applicants would be considered for appointment to either location although personal preference will be taken into account.
