FGC and Family Networking Advisory Service Team Manager Vacancy

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Manager post within the Family Group Conferencing (FGC) and Family Networking Advisory Service. The Service has recently expanded and now covers both Community and Partnerships (Early Help) and Social Work pathways.
The Service promotes and supports the embedding of a family networking approach throughout Social Care and partner agencies. In addition, through its team of accredited FGC Advisors, it delivers independently facilitated FGC’s.
The Manager is also responsible for the Children and Young People’s Participation Team that is focused on providing opportunities for children and young people receiving a social care service to give their views and influence both practice and service delivery. The team is specifically responsible for the development and promotion of Norfolk’s In Care Council.
Both services sit within the Independent Statutory Services’ management structure. The post requires extensive experience of both management and service development.

All the office-based roles are currently working from home as part of the Smarter Working plans and to support the health and safety of all colleagues. They anticipate that working remotely will be a key feature of this role and when offices re-open your office base will be Whiting Road, Norwich. Their technology platform and equipment are first class, enabling you to connect and collaborate remotely. They ask that you have in place good Broadband connectivity.
