UEA Young Carers Taster Days

The University of East Anglia (UEA) are offering a range of great FREE opportunities for Young Carers/Young Adult Carers who can join in with this year’s Young Carers Taster Day to spend the day at the UEA taking part in taster sessions, tour of campus, talks and meeting current students.

We also fund free places for young carers in Year 12 to attend the subject specific summer school at the end of July (history, literature, law, medicine, pharmacy and health sciences) – www.uea.ac.uk/universitytasters

The UEA also welcome enquiries from young people who would like an individual visit to find out more about a specific subject. Students are welcome to apply directly at www.uea.ac.uk/outreach/shadowing

UEA Open Days, July-October 2019 – free, open-access events for anyone interested in finding out about opportunities at university. Meet current students and staff, find out about subjects on offer, explore our campus and accommodation, and get answers to your questions. Register here www.uea.ac.uk/opendays

Individuals who meet the UEA eligbility criteria are encouraged to apply for travel funding to assist with costs of visiting UEA for Open Days and other activities. Visit www.uea.ac.uk/outreach/travelfund for full details of eligibility and how to apply.
